Smile Tracker ("the Service") is a free, browser-based tool operated by Smile Tracker that uses Google MediaPipe facial-landmark technology to analyse facial expressions in photos uploaded by the user. By accessing or using the Service you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy below.
2. Privacy Policy — Your Data
We do not collect, store, or transmit your photos. All image analysis runs entirely inside your browser using client-side JavaScript. Your photo is processed locally on your device and is never uploaded to any server, database, or third-party service.
- No account creation is required.
- No personally identifiable information is collected.
- No cookies are set beyond what is strictly necessary for the page to function.
- No analytics, tracking pixels, or advertising tags are loaded on this page.
- AI models (MediaPipe) are fetched from public CDNs at runtime and cached in your browser; this is the only external network request made during analysis.
3. Accuracy & Limitations
Smile Tracker uses facial geometry and blendshape signals to estimate a smile score. Results depend heavily on photo quality, lighting, angle, and individual facial anatomy. Scores are approximate estimates, not scientific measurements.
Results may vary across different photos of the same person. A lower score does not reflect negatively on your appearance, character, or wellbeing.
4. Not Medical or Psychological Advice
The Service is provided for entertainment and personal curiosity only. Nothing on this site constitutes medical, psychological, diagnostic, or therapeutic advice. If you have concerns about your health or mental wellbeing, please consult a qualified professional.
5. Age Requirement
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. By using Smile Analyzer you confirm that you meet this requirement. Users under 18 should have parental or guardian consent before uploading any photo.
6. Your Photos & Intellectual Property
You retain full ownership of any photo you upload. Because no photo is ever transmitted to our servers, Smile Tracker has no access to, and makes no claim over, any image you analyse using this tool.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Analyse photos of individuals without their knowledge or consent.
- Use results to harass, demean, or discriminate against any person.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or automate the tool.
- Misrepresent results as clinically or scientifically validated assessments.
8. Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Smile Tracker makes no guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or accurate.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Smile Tracker shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service.
9. Third-Party Technologies
The Service uses Google MediaPipe (Apache 2.0 licence), served via public CDN. Use of those technologies is also subject to Google's terms. Smile Tracker is not affiliated with or endorsed by Google.

Smile Tracker may update these Terms and Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
